Stuart Tyrrell Developments Say Goodbye to NET100 with Last-Chance-Offer. Released in 2002, NET100 brought fast reliable 16-bit 100BaseT networking to the RISC OS platform, and was immediately a hit product. Its claim to be the "fastest network interface for the RISC PC" was usurped in 2004 by the faster and more capable Unipod, and ultimately the comparative popularity of NET100 has dwindled as Unipod has become the de-facto solution for 32-bit Networking, USB and IDE interfacing on the RISC PC. Coupled with this, difficulty with supply of key components means that the manufacture of further stocks of NET100 interfaces is unlikely. Sadly, therefore, it really is time to put this solid old workhorse out to pasture. Our current remaining stock is the end of the last batch, so if you require a 16bit 100BaseT NIC, this is your chance. Of course we will be retaining some stock to cover our warranty and other contractual obligations. We have reduced the price of NET100 significantly to reflect its "no longer in production" status. Whilst stocks last, NET100 will be available for just GBP59.00, including VAT and UK carriage, discounted by more than a third of its usual price of GBP89.00. Maximum of two per customer at this price. Unipod, and specifically the faster network-enabled version of Unipod is not affected and will continue to be available.
